Abstract

|
The antihypertensive effect of Carteolol hydrochloride was observed in 10 cases of hypertension, and following results were obtained. 1. Global assessment of utility by Carteolol hydrochloride was obtained Extremely us,-ful
in 20%, Fairly useful in 20%, Fairly in 60%, Slightly useful in 10% and unabl to_ determine in 10% of the cases.
2. After the administration of Cartelol hydrochloride, no drop in average heart rate ´as observed.
3. The side effect of Carteolol hydrochloide was slightly dizziness in one case.
